Nikki Haley pressed the need for Western deterrence in the face of threats from Russia, China, and Iran, and warned that the West must take the hostility and strategic ambition of these powers seriously. Any failure would lead to more suffering, less freedom, and a more hostile world. Deterring war should be the overwhelming goal of the entire free world.
